Luma on Park still shines

Chef Brandon McGlamery is the star of Winter Park's Luma on Park, but I'd wager he'd be the first to tell you it's a team effort. With an impressive network of farmers and regional purveyors in Florida and beyond, McGlamery and his staff have championed seasonally inspired cuisine since he took the restaurant's helm in 2006. (He was the sous chef when the restaurant opened in 2005.)

Hawthorne Hotel’s chef hopes to survive ‘Hell’s Kitchen’

Chef Jennifer Normant, 34, has done the impossible: endured Chef Gordon Ramsay’s “Hell’s Kitchen.” Season nine of the Fox reality television series began July 18 with 18 hopeful chefs, including Normant, the chef de cuisine at the Hawthorne Hotel in Salem. Thus far, she has survived plenty of harsh Ramsay-style punishments and demanding dinner services.
